**Summary**:
Vitafoam Products Canada (Vancouver), a division of VPC Group Inc., is looking for 2 **permanent full-time** Forklift operator with a current forklift license to support its manufacturing operation in **Delta, BC** for **Day shift and Night shift.**

**Day Shift**

**Monday - Friday 6:00 - 2:00**

**Night Shift
- Sunday to Thursday 10:30pm - 5:30am**
- (Night Shift Premium $1.50/hr)_

**Safety & Cleaning Responsibilities**:

- Abide by all safety policies, procedures, and best practices
- Identify, report, and avoid all hazards and always operate with safety in mind
- Report any near misses to supervisor
- Clean and organize work areas
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push/ pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds

**Packing/Material Handling Responsibilities**:

- Select foam for production based on ganging labels
- Ability to repeatedly move materials
- Package finished products according to customer requirements
- Stack finished products in designated areas and/or on skids
- Assist shipping as needed
- Read/print and understand labels
- Locate/retrieve/place products in the warehouse
- Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs / 25 kgs
- Use baler to compact excess material.

**Forklift Responsibilities**:

- Required to use both clamps and forks to stage for production

**Requirements**:

- Must have a reliable method of transportation
- Must have a positive attitude and value working well as an integral part of a team
- Manufacturing experience will be an asset
- **Forklift certificate** is mandatory

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Delta, BC V3M 5R9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
