The Phone Experts Group is a privately owned company with Business offices in Red Deer, Calgary, Banff and Medicine Hat. We are an all-in-one solutions provider. Through our Group of companies, we are able to offer a unique combination of Telecom and Security products and services all over Alberta. We are currently hiring a Permanent Full-Time Telecom/Security Technician in Red Deer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation, testing, troubleshooting of structured cable components.
- Diagnose, install, maintain, servicing and repairing telecom and security equipment including alarm systems, access control and cameras.
- Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software.
- Handle a physically demanding workload (up to 60 lbs.) which includes heavy lifting, climbing ladders, work at heights, crawling in confined spaces and working in all weather conditions.
- Self-motivated, demonstrate effective decision-making skills and can work with limited supervision.
- Follow safe work practices and abide by all safety rules and regulations.

**What you need**:

- Your own basic hand tools
- Fluent in English, with demonstrated professional oral and written communications skills
- Ability to plan, organize and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Be able to pass a background check.
- Travel and out of town work is required. Company Vehicle and accommodation provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,750.00-$62,500.00 per year
