**How you’ll contribute**

As our **Scaffold** **Operations Manager,** you’ll serve as leadership for our Scaffold Yard and Driver staff at our Hub location, ensuring continuous team improvement and customer satisfaction with respect to our Scaffold and Temporary Fencing products through:

- Working with the Scaffold Hub Manager to ensure alignment and consistency in Yard and Driver staff performance standards and SOP’s throughout the department.
- Setting and communicating goals, direction, and priorities for Yard and Driver staff, working with the Scaffold Hub Manager to resolve any daily challenges and issues
- Triggering replenishment of our rental fleet equipment, load balancing underutilized equipment to drive increased usage and exposure, and overseeing critical morning and evening loading / unloading activities
- Supporting the business through an ongoing understanding of Scaffold operations, strategic planning, Yard/Driver staff related trends, and fleet and labour cost monitoring
- Developing and maintaining positive and effective relationships with staff, clients, key stakeholders, Stephenson’s Branches and Sales teams
- Assisting with interviewing and providing recommendations for hiring additional Scaffold staff members
- Demonstrating the required attitude and mindset needed to motivate staff and develop a strong team culture
- Aiding with regular onboarding, training, coaching, and engagement of the team to ensure they have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to support high levels of service
- Supporting and coordinating staff development activities through recognition, performance reviews, and performance related initiatives
- Managing payroll and ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Managing weekly staff schedules, vacations, and attendance, ensuring proper coverage during operating hours that meet business demands
- Ensuring internal staff compliance with training, proper lifting techniques, and Health & Safety
- Conducting weekly safety walks through the facility, identifying, and rectifying potential safety hazards, such as trip hazards, unsafe loads, etc.
- Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety initiatives, implementing safety precautions, and always fostering a safety-focused environment
- Adhering to and promoting our Company Safety Policies, including wearing all required PPE.
- Completing other duties as assigned.

**What we’re looking for**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in logistics or warehousing, preferably in a Supervisory or Leadership role
- Experience within equipment rental, scaffolding, construction, delivery, or fleet environment is a strong asset
- MS Office Suite experience and advanced computer literacy
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, decision making, and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Able to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- G Class Driver’s License with clean drivers abstract
- Able to consistently lift and move up to 50lbs
