**Position**: Production/Operations Manager

**Location**: Pickering, Ontario

**Reports to**: General Manager

**Summary**:
Founded in 1985, Adaptall is a manufacturer and supplier of Hydraulic Metric/British Fittings & Adapters with facilities in Pickering and Mississauga, Ontario; Houston, Texas; and Twinsburg, Ohio. Reporting to the General Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for keeping the company functioning at the highest level of efficiency to minimize risk and maximize profit. Your primary duties are production planning, scheduling, creating procedures, and acting as a team leader to staff.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility
- Liaises with other departments to ensure that all plants expectations are met.
- Oversee the personnel in designing, programming, quoting, scheduling and setting up of jobs.
- Responsible for building maintenance, leasing of premises, rental of equipment, and other operational related activities
- Works with HR Coordinator for hiring, onboarding, disciplining, and terminations.
- Oversees employee performance and appraisals
- Supports the purchasing team in order to maximize on time deliveries, minimize lead times, and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Ensure employees are complying with company policies
- Oversees time off requests, absences, and reports details to payroll and HR
- Ensure a safe and fair working environment
- Responsible for building cleanliness, housekeeping, and organization.
- Minimize costs while ensuring the profitability of the manufacturing operations
- Ensure highest level of quality control with goal of minimizing scrap and defects.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years minimum experience in a similar Production Management role
- College or University degree in Production Management, Plant Management, Business Admin, Business Management, etc.
- Management experience in CNC shop is ideal
- Familiar with CAD/CAM, Mastercam, G-code programming, tooling setups, etc.
- Able leader and effective problem solver
- Diligent, organized, and well prepared
- Strong management skills
- Can communicate and collaborate effectively, written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs and the ability to learn in house ERP system.
- Ability to multitask on a variety of projects.

**Salary**: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

**Education**:
