**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Serve meals to customers with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in training sessions related to food safety and service excellence.
**Skills**
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within the restaurant or food service industry, with at least 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Familiarity with Latin American preparation techniques and ingredients.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
- Speaking Spanish is an asset.
- Food handlers certificate.
