**Purpose and Scope**:
Manage project timelines for individual assembly and equipment automation projects. Play a major role in managing all projects. Monitor the phases of the project delivery from design/concept through to fabrication and implementation. Contribute to the overall growth of manufacturing activities by assisting in the continuous improvement of process capability through equipment design in all global regions.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for preparing, coordinating and managing project timeline, open issue list and resource need and allocation
- Key window and main contact for communications with “customers”, suppliers, GAA team members and management
- Using MS Project and / or other tools create specific project tasks. Establish milestones and make adjustments as needed throughout the life cycle of the project
- Ensures Project Targets are met (Quality, Delivery Timing, Budget, etc.)
- Play a supporting role in the multi-disciplinary approach to equipment design / development
- Work as a team member in order to complete the implementation of new or modified production machines in conjunction with new manufacturing projects
- Manage project related open issue list
- Ensuring the adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 all Stackpole International policies and any other industry standards in all activities
- Create and manage Project Statement of requirements (SOR) for internal use that is in line with customer and quality expectations
- Create and manage quality check lists in line with the SOR and Machine Build Specification requirements to ensure equipment is fully tested prior shipment
- Debrief Management on current progress vs budget and timeline
- Develop continuous improvement (CI) ideas to improve the departmental systems
- Coordinate CI initiatives
- Develop and maintain project templates to standardize project management practices across the organization.
- Perform other related duties as required

**Qualifications, Education And / or Experience**:

- An undergraduate degree in Engineering and relevant experience
- Good understanding of industrial automated solutions and assembly processes
- Good technical understanding of multi-disciplinary engineering research initiatives
- Able to synthesize and communicate concept and design solutions to a broad audience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated Project Management skills
- Excellent communications, negotiating, conflict management, and problem solving skills
- Proficient in FMEA
- Understanding of automotive systems and quality requirements based on IATF 16949/ISO9001 operating systems
- Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
