**Position Summary**

Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga has an exciting new opportunity for a **Financial Analyst. ** The successful incumbent will take part in financial reporting and analysis. Key duties include monthly financial statement preparation as well as budget and 12 month rolling forecast preparation.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Budget and 12 month rolling forecast preparation
- Monthly Financial statements preparation and analysis
- Accounting for inventory and related provisions, accruals, journal entries
- Involved with internal and external audit requirements
- Preparation of monthly business review
- Attend meetings
- Maintain reconciliations, manage month end close activities
- Mentor General Accountant, AP and payroll staff
- Support Director, Finance and Senior Financial Analyst with special projects as required

**Position Requirements**
- University and/or College Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent
- CPA Certification
- Min 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- Strong inventory experience
- Financial statement preparation and analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting experience in a manufacturing environment
