THE OPPORTUNITY
You’ll work as a member of the Video Marketing team and play a vital role in promoting our business and mission. You will guide the production of OpenText video materials and help create and promote our image, representing our brand to customers, community and employees. You will report to the Director, Video Marketing, and will work with them, and the greater Creative Services team to create engaging videos for both internal and external audiences that will captivate audiences. Responsibilities will include video and animation production planning, creative thinking and idea generation, project management and oversight, as well as collaboration a team of videographer/animators. Alongside that, you will have the hard skills needed to jump in and film, edit, and animate captivating content. You will work with clients directly to write scripts, ideate on creative concepts, and guide and develop ideas through planning, scheduling, and delivery.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Support production of animated and video projects, coordinating production pipelines, tools, and timelines.
- Manages timelines of 3D and motion graphics projects, utilizing cutting edge AI in workflows strategically to condense timelines.
- Work through the concept to completion process including briefing, scripting and storyboards,
- Assembling briefs, creative pitch decks, scripts and concept directions for individual videos and complete campaigns
- Utilizing brand and content marketing alongside SEO best practices to make creative with informed metric driven insights

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 3-5 years of professional experience in creative marketing
- University degree or college diploma in video production, animation, and a robust portfolio; or equivalent experience;
- Knowledge of AI video production tools (Midjourney, Leondardo) and how they work with animation tools like After Effects and Blender
- X thinks outside the box but within brand guidelines
- Can deliver assigned edits and animations on time
- Demonstrates strong animation and motion graphics knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Blender and current videography tools
