The **Student Placement Coordinator **plays a critical role in ensuring the success of the student’s work experience. Working as part of the Placement Team, you will be assisting students in securing suitable work opportunities by matching them with a host company. Additionally, you will be preparing documents and monitoring the work experiences of those students currently enrolled in colleges and universities that Stepwest manages the Co-op department.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
- Place co-op students and program participants in roles related to their studies, skills and experience
- Liaise with employers to assess job openings and placement needs
- Collect all program required documents from the students throughout their placement using our dedicated software
- Present informational workshops to students to outline requirements and describe placement services
- Represent Stepwest and possess knowledge of Stepwest’s services
- Maintain positive relationships with school and company partners
- Create supporting documents for job placements
- Maintain information systems to ensure everything is accurate and up to date

**REQUIREMENTS**
- A degree/diploma in business or related field
- At least 1-year work of experience in sales, or customer service, and account management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to compose effective business correspondence
- Highly motivated by personal targets as well as team goals; a true team player.
- Proficiency in with Mac & Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with a high volume of administrative work as well as proficient time management capabilities
- Acute organization skills and strong ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
