**About The Opportunity**:
Working as an integral part of the Nexwsp’áyaḵen ta Smets’álḵen Kw’áxwa7 Information Technology, reporting directly to the Information Systems Lead, the Application Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical and functional support for the Nation’s systems. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user support. The position requires an understanding of the Nation’s current ERP system, JD Edwards, as well as its future ERP, MS Dynamics Finance & Supply Chain Management (implementation in 2025), to work with various departments to understand their challenges and provide solutions. Incumbent works with different levels of staff, requiring ability to explain concepts and technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
**What You Bring**:
- Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work professionally with end users of varying levels of computer competency.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting, problem solving, and the ability to analyze, classify and document user requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining system and business concepts/processes to end users and software developers.
- Capability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Resourceful and organized with excellent time management abilities.
- Capable of managing and prioritizing a high volume of user correspondence.
- Team-oriented with a positive, approachable attitude
- Experience using one or more ticketing systems.
- Experience providing end user software support or testing software.
- Fundamental understanding of ERP/CRM systems.
- Experience with JD Edwards’ EnterpriseOne ERP System and MS Dynamics Finance & Supply Chain Management.
- Exposure to cloud platforms or DevOps practices.
- Ability to write beginner to intermediate SQL queries, with a fundamental understanding of relational databases.
- SQL Server Database Administration.
- SSRS Report Development and Administration.
- Experience with Tableau.
- Experience with a cheque printing software and bank files.
**Salary**: $ 76,499 - $ 85,634 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program
