**This position is**:
Hybrid, at least 3 days per week in office

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation and configuration of RDBMS software (MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB/MySQL).
- Database backups / recovery
- Create and maintain scheduled RDBMS jobs.
- Implement and enforce defined security models and database audit policies.
- Provide second-line technical support for database-related issues.
- Define and implement database standards.
- Implement and enforce database change control processes and procedures.
- Develop complex database procedures, functions triggers and SQL scripts.
- Participate as a database technical specialist in project teams external to the IT department.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Information Technology
- Linux/Unix experience
- Sound knowledge of data warehouse concepts
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both oral and written
- Willingness to provide on-call support
- Willingness to learn and become proficient in multiple RDBMS platforms
