**Woodshop Edgebander Operator**

We supply custom woodwork to schools, restaurants, retail, hospitals, airports and more.

**Experience**:

- Some Cabinetmaking experience
- Direct Edgebander experience; an understanding of this equipment and its job description

**Languages**:

- Fluently speak, read and write English
- Imperial and Metric measures

**Type of Work**:

- Use of machines & hand tools
- Enclosed shop environment.

**Specific Tasks**:

- Movement of materials to and from the Edgebander
- Material management
- Following or developing cutting lists for parts
- Interpret engineering and design drawings
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors and provide solutions for quality control

**Additional Skills**:

- Interaction with cabinetmakers and management to solve problems
- Train and work with other personnel in a team environment
- Forklift Operation (On-site Training available)
- Co-Ordination of shipping of products with shipping department
- Occasional help with other cabinetmakers

**Computer Training and Knowledge**:

- Occasional use of Windows, and Project Management software (On-site Training available)

**Work Conditions**:

- Fast paced environment, deadlines, office, and some minor shop
- Steel toe footwear, Tools, Safety glasses, and hearing protection

**Transportation**:

- Provide own means to our shop to work on time

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
