Install Technician

What You Will Do:

- Performing service/installation repair work and preventative maintenance as required for Stanley Automatic Door Operating Equipment and other electro/mechanical equipment that may be sold or serviced by the branch.
- Maintaining accurate work records, adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; keep inventory log.
- Keeping manuals up to date, and maintain company vehicles, tools and other property in accordance with established procedures.
- Presenting neat and clean appearance personally and in workmanship, in accordance with company policies
- Testing equipment before leaving job site and perform safety check.
- Maintaining good customer relations and customer service
- Assisting others in install/service methods and other duties as may be required.

What You Need to Succeed:
- High school diploma or GED.-
- Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.-
- Ability to lift 75-100lbs.-
- Excellent Oral & Written communication skills.-
- Sitting while driving for periods of time up to 2 hours but not limited to.-
- Standing on concrete for periods of time up to 8 hours but not limited to.-
- Stooping, Crouching, Kneeling, Crawling, and twisting spine occasionally.-
- Vision not limited to near, far or colors.-
- Ability to work in various climates.-
- Flexible work schedule is a must with the ability to work nights and/or weekends as necessary.Additional Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
- Associates Degree in related electrical, mechanical, industrial field-
- Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field-
- Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints, AAADM CertificationWhy Work for Us?
