We are an established and growing company that manufactures forest industry saws. We have been excelling in in-house manufacturing of saws since 1973.

We are seeking a motivated **Saw Shop Labourer** interested in an exciting career and the prospect of long term growth within our company. This position requires a high degree of detail, organization and the ability to work within deadlines. The successful applicant must be reliable, self motivated, possess a positive attitude and be able to follow instructions.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Handle Materials - within the shop and outdoors as required
- Perform Housekeeping Duties; clean up debris and machinery
- Assist Saw Filers and other tradespeople on-site
- Operate Basic Hand Tools and Powered Hand Tools. i.e. Drills, Disc Grinders, Nail Gun, Hammer., etc
- Build custom boxes for outgoing products
- Lubricate and oil various machinery
- Perform work safely and follow established work procedures
- Perform general tasks as assigned by Supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- Own transportation (location is not transit accessible)
- Steel toed boots required
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Have construction experience
- Have welding experience
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Able to perform physically demanding work
- Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills

**Salary**: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
