**Job Posting: General Labour at Mega Rebar**

Mega Rebar, an established rebar fabricator and distributor situated in Maple Ridge, BC, is actively seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as a General Labourer. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers competitive compensation and benefits. Our facility is equipped with top-of-the-line equipment.

**Core Duties**:

- Operate and maintain equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping.
- Maintain the shop/designated area in a clean and safe manner.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge related to the job.
- Other duties as assigned or required.

**Work Conditions**:

- Work in a covered environment.
- Highly repetitive tasks.
- Heavy lifting required.
- Overtime hours may be required to meet operational demands.
- Must be flexible to work early mornings and late evenings.

**Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements**:

- Must have basic math skills to calculate bar measurements.
- Must be able to read a measuring tape.
- Ability to lift and maneuver without physical restrictions.
- Ability and willingness to follow directions, as well as the ability to work independently.
- Good understanding of customer service for both internal and external customers.
- Ability to follow safety standards and requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment (Steel-toe work boots, gloves, helmets, hearing protection, safety glasses, etc.).
