Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time **Operational Performance Data Analyst** to join our growing and ever-changing organization. The Operational Performance Data Analyst helps drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports. They communicate these results to managers and provide suggestions based on their findings.
**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Operational Performance Data Analyst **include:
- Design business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the department
- Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
- Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
- Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
- Create business reports that provide insight into key data points
- Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
- Support airport operation department in reaching their goals through analysis
- Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:
- A post-Secondary degree or diploma from a recognized institute in Business, Finance, or Computing Science is desirable. A suitable combination of education to experience is considered.
- Minimum of three years of experience as a financial or business analyst
- Experience in SAP, object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs
- Demonstrable experience as a reporting analyst.
- Knowledge of suitable data analytic processes that allow for the development of data-driven reports
- Proven experience creating data-driven knowledge that promotes profitability.
- Capacity to train staff in foundational data entry techniques.
- Ability to create, update, and share databases.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
- Ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
- Strong troubleshooting and report writing abilities.
- Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
- Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
- General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
- Attentive and considerate team player.
