Lincoln Electric seeks current graduates or experienced Technical Welding Professionals with one or more of the following Engineering/Engineering Technology disciplines:
Welding

Mechanical

Industrial

Manufacturing

Electrical (not with a computer major)

Civil

Chemical, Materials or Metallurgical Engineering Technology

Summary of Your Impactful Contributions

To assume full accountability for account development within an assigned District, develop and source leads, up sell existing accounts and continually prospect for new business opportunities with potential customers.

To work with our customers to assess current welding requirements, and advise on the most effective technology.

To benchmark our customers welding costs, evaluate alternatives, and present solutions that will result in greater efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality.

To effectively sell to major accounts, distributors, consulting engineering firms, established customer accounts and prospective customers.

To conduct on-site product training sessions and seminars for customers, distributors, and operators.

To continually provide technical support to all customers, build strong relationships and work with distributors with respect to their inventories, inventory turns and margins, recommending appropriate pricing strategies and managing accounts according to account sales volumes.

To troubleshoot customer concerns, product returns, service and repairs through the co-ordination and administration of warranties.

To prepare and submit annual budgets, strategic plans, estimates and forecasts in conjunction with ongoing business requirements, priorities, policies and procedures.

To attend sales meetings and seminars, maintain accurate and up-to-date monthly expense reports, call record (sales), mileage reports, sales budgets, submit account reports as well as the Top 30 Largest Account Report.

Work with all levels of our business partners/customers from Welders to CEOs developing both technical and business skills.

Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.

**Training**

**Location**

Upon successful completion of the training program, Technical Sales Representatives are assigned to one of six district offices, located in principal cities across Canada. Technical Sales Representatives must be prepared to be assigned to any of the district sales offices.
