**Paralegal/ Legal Assistant**

Chester Law is a full-service law firm located in the heart of Chester on Nova Scotia’s beautiful South Shore. Our firm is currently seeking a paralegal/legal assistant.

Job Summary:
The Paralegal/Legal Assistant provides essential support to lawyers by performing various legal, administrative, and clerical tasks, including:

- Accurately and efficiently draft, proofread, and compile legal documents such as wills, estate forms, corporate forms, deeds and agreements, property transaction documents, and correspondence;
- Liaise with clients to collect information, and arrange meetings with the legal team;
- Manage deadlines and closing dates for various files.
- An interest in Corporate, Wills, Estates, Real Estate, Family Law and Litigation;
- Experience working with Clio, Microsoft 365 and Property Online;
- A keen eye and attention to detail;
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn;
- Ability to manage time and deadlines and prioritize tasks;
- Strong listening and communication skills.

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
