Purchasing Specialist
KLONDIKE Lubricants is Canada’s leading brand of high performance commercial, industrial, and automotive lubricants, greases, and oils. Much more than a lubricant company, we are a leader in providing business solutions and growth opportunities to our thousands of loyal dealers and end users. For over 35 years, we have helped our customers grow by developing market-leading products, delivering them through our dedicated distribution network, and standing behind our quality promise.
Our mission is to provide best-in-class service to our customers, from onboarding to after-sales support. We are a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and flat organization that offers exciting growth opportunities for talented professionals searching for a new challenge.
We are currently searching for a Purchasing Specialist to elevate our sourcing and supplier relationships and build out our capabilities in negotiation, innovation, and risk management.
The Role Philosophy
We’re on the hunt for KLONDIKE’s first Purchasing Specialist to join our Langley HQ As a key member of our team, you’ll collaborate closely with our Technical & Purchasing Director to drive our mission of building a world-class lubricant brand that helps our dealers build their business.
It’s an exciting time to join KLONDIKE as we’re planning to grow twofold over the next three years
We’re planning to expand our product line depth, broaden our global supply network, establish hundreds of dealers throughout the US, and so much more.
As part of our growth, this is an opportunity where you’ll be empowered to manage and grow our procurement and sourcing network, and play a pivotal role in ensuring our products and associated components are sourced at the right cost in the desired quality to meet our business objectives now and into the future.
We’re looking for a keen team player who is experienced with sourcing and procurement; if this sounds like you and you’re passionate about joining a fast-growing brand and rolling up your sleeves as we build, this is where YOU come in.
Who You Are
You are ready for a bold and energizing career move, where you will be awarded the latitude and the opportunity to support a fast-growing company’s procurement function. You believe that _buying right_ starts with getting the _basics right_, but you understand that world-class procurement is about much more. You are driven by the possibility of change and are undeterred by early failures, choosing instead to push through and identify which elements of your strategy will stick. You are a collaborator and learner, and you will dive into our supply network, analyze our processes, understand our relationships and get to know our team to understand what truly sets KLONDIKE apart from other organizations.
You believe that progress comes from thinking big and working hard to achieve an audacious goal - this is how you have achieved success in your prior roles. You show up as your authentic self to work,
taking on new challenges with purpose and enthusiasm. You recognize yourself in our motto:
“Braving the Force of Movement”.
