We are currently searching for a **Freight Logistics Specialist **to oversee all movement of product as competitively as possible whilst building healthy transportation vendor relationships.

**The Role Philosophy**

We’re on the hunt for a very key member of the Operations Team at KLONDIKE to join our Langley HQ As an integral part of our Supply Chain you’ll collaborate closely with our Purchasing Specialist, Buyer and Client Care Team, to drive our mission of building a world-class lubricant brand that helps our dealers build their business.

It’s an exciting time to join KLONDIKE as we’re planning to grow twofold over the next three years We’re expanding our product line depth, broadening our global supply network, establishing hundreds of dealers throughout the US, and so much more.

**What You Will Do**
- **Take ownership of all product movement**:_The only way we fulfil our promise is by delivering it_
- Ensure all shipments are assigned the right carrier based on cost and service through the Freight Matrix
- Prepare occasional Customs Documentation and BOL’s
- Support the Client Care Team with the needed information for when it doesn’t go to plan
- **Manage all freight costs**:_The bottom line: we can only sell as well as we buy. Through sourcing best-costed freight we fulfil our mission to help our dealers build their businesses_
- Gather spot quotes for all oversize loads
- Conduct cyclical rate reviews on all lanes in the freight matrix and go to market for new rates where applicable
- Ensure all freight billed are double-checked for accuracy before processing
- Prepare freight claims for damaged or lost shipments; hold carriers accountable
