**Job Profile: Banquet Supervisor**
**Reporting to**: Event Coordinator

The Banquet Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring that every event at The Saskatoon Club delivers a memorable experience for our members and guests. This position requires a leader who can oversee banquet operations, manage a team, and ensure that events run seamlessly from start to finish. You'll be responsible for overseeing event setups, service, and breakdowns, while also collaborating closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure flawless execution.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional, personalized service to members and guests throughout each event
- Supervise the setup, service, and teardown of banquets, including table settings, décor, and AV needs
- Welcome members by name and ensure their needs are met during the event
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient, timely service that exceeds expectations
- Ensure compliance with all provincial food and beverage regulations, including Serving It Right guidelines
- Proactively upsell food and beverage options to enhance the guest experience
- Oversee cash management, inventory control, and other administrative duties associated with events
- Assist in developing procedures and best practices for smooth event operations

**Qualifications**:

- 19+ years of age
- 3+ years of serving experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in banquet or event management
- Serve It Right certification
- Proficient with POS systems, Microsoft Office, and event management software
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple events with a keen attention to detail
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer/member service
- Post-secondary education in hospitality, event management, or a related field is preferred
