**TransEd Valley line LRT is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team of Rail Professionals. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will bring their flare for numbers and attention to detail to the business.**

**Who We Are**

TransEd Valley Line LRT is the first piece of the Valley Line project in Edmonton. Connecting Millwoods to downtown Edmonton, the Valley Line allows commuters to go from the South East of Edmonton to any where the LRT stops.

**A typical day for the Finance Manager**
- Works closely with the Accountant to ensure transactions are posted correctly
- Preparing monthly financial packages for the Director of Finance
- Preparing budgets, forecasts and variance reporting with the assistance of the Department Leads
- Day to day duties including vendor and customer management with the help of the other members of our accounting team.
- Responsible for processing and collection of monthly service revenue

**What you will bring to the team**
- A diploma or degree specializing in accounting. CPA preferred
- 3-5 years full cycle accounting experience with duties that include cash flow management, month end reporting, and participation in year-end reviews with an external accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of Quickbooks and Microsoft Office
- Thrive working in a fast-paced, small team environment
- Be able to switch gears easily and handle multiple tasks at once
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
