Elk Point Medical Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Executive Administrative and Accounting Assistant to play a significant role in our small, patient-focused team.

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented **Executive Administrative and Accounting Assistant** to join our dynamic medical clinic in Elk Point, Alberta. This multifaceted role is critical to ensuring smooth clinic operations and providing comprehensive support to the clinic director, with a particular focus on integrating accounting and executive tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Administrative Responsibilities**
- Manage daily clinic operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
- Coordinate correspondence, prepare documents, and handle general inquiries professionally.
- Maintain office assets, supplies and oversee equipment servicing as needed

**Executive Support**
- Act as a liaison between the director and staff, ensuring effective communication.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials for the director.
- Manage the director’s calendar, scheduling meetings, and appointments.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

**Accounting and Bookkeeping**
- Process payroll and ensure accuracy in salary calculations and payments.
- Manage private and provincial billing submissions and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for review by management.
- Collaborate with external accountants or auditors when necessary.
- Analyze financial and operational data to provide insights that support strategic clinic initiatives.

**General Office Duties**
- Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the office environment.
- Train and assist new staff in clinic processes and protocols.
- Streamline workflows between administrative, accounting, and clinical teams to enhance productivity.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth functioning of the clinic.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in administrative support, accounting, and executive assistance, ideally within a medical or healthcare setting.
- Previous experience working in the Health Sector, particularly in primary care or doctor’s office settings, is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and payroll systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**Work Schedule**:

- Full-time, 35-40 hours per week.
