**Plant Operator - Bio**

We are looking to hire a Plant Operator for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Brampton, ON. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave. The ideal Plant Operator is an individual who likes variety in their work and can think through practical problems.

**What will your job involve?**
- Receiving and processing of the various waste streams.
- Scans waste into Route Optics for proper record keeping purposes.
- Maintains the boiler and the autoclave functions to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
- Ensures that all waste is properly processed and/or stored in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Ensures an adequate supply of clean reusable bins and totes are readily available for logistics purposes.
- Washes and ensures quality control of all reusable bins and totes.
- Ensures housekeeping issues, e.g., spills cleaned up, floor is dry, and debris not on floor, etc., are addressed immediately.
- Performs additional duties and assists in other areas of the plant operation as directed by Operations Supervisor

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- LNG Operations: 1 year (preferred)
- SCADA: 1 year (preferred)
- technical inspection: 1 year (preferred)
