Terminal Operations Specialist

The Terminal Operations Specialist, under the direction of the General Manager/Project Engineering Group, will primarily be responsible for providing technical support to fuel carriers and field operations at Terminals on a 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week basis. Duties includes but not limited to PQM (Product Quality Management), loading issues, Railcar ticketing, driver training support, and password issues. This is a full-time permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Resolve Product Quality issues and escalate to Product Quality Advisor and/or Terminal Operators if needed.
- Reset/Adjust terminal equipment per documented process.
- Troubleshoot loading issues.
- Accurately report and document issues in a timely manner.
- Identify second level support and escalate as needed.
- Call resolution and ticket management.
- Acknowledge alarms in SCADA system.
- Reset system passwords for users.
- Other duties as required.

About You:

- 3-5 years’ proven experience working in a similar role. Construction/oil/energy industry experience is a strong asset.
- Experience with systems such as TMS and SCADA would be an asset.
- Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in a relevant field is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent at fostering relationships inside and outside of an organization
- Ability to work under little to no supervision.
- Demonstrate problem solving and decision skills to identify the right approach in resolving problems.
- Ability to adhere to a flexible schedule and able to work shift rotations (day and night).
- Able to work a few days a week at the Moncton office.

Salary Range:

- 45-55K/year depending on previous experience and skillset.

Working Environment & Physical Demands
- Prolonged sitting
- Routine use of standard office equipment
- Shift work (day / night) or shift choice.
- Shift duration are: 8, 10, or 12hr shifts.
- Hybrid office/Remote work

This job will require periodic visits to job sites and some flexibility in terms of working hours may be required.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
