**Reports to: Customer Service Supervisor**:
Schedule: Start Times: 11am, Monday - Friday. Optional weekend hours may be available from time to time.
Term of contract : 6 months.
Pay Range: $19/hour+
**Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions**:
- Responds to Customer inquiries
- Complete order process, data entry, and confirms status of deliveries
- Communicates with customers for the purpose of:
- Processing orders
- Delivery status
- Customer issues
- Problem resolution
- Dispatch customer orders to appropriate carrier
- Co-ordination with our carriers’ dispatchers
- Multi-Tasking with computer entries, phone calls and delivery drivers
- Manages daily scheduled deliveries
- Creating bill of ladings for all truck deliveries loaded at our facilities
- Interacts with delivery drivers, directs drivers to product location for loading and completes transactions on return to Scale House
- Creates custom documents for US-bound shipments
- Supports other team members to complete daily transactions
- Create billing for rail car transactions
- Reporting includes:
- **Health and Safety**: Participate in driver safety and staff safety program for Distribution Department
- ** Other**: Special projects assignment
**Qualifications**
Education/Experience
- Minimum High School Diploma, Customer Service experience an asset
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- SAP and Microsoft Excel experience preferred

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must possess excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrates leadership/ability to take ownership of tasks and make decisions, takes initiative and is self-motivated
- Must be able to work within a team environment and interact with a variety of people in all plant departments
- Good problem solving abilities
**Physical Requirements**
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Able to lift small objects frequently, weighing no more than 20 lbs.
- This is sedentary in nature but may require occasional periods of standing and walking
