We are currently looking for a customer
- and team-oriented full-time Delivery Supervisor to join our Yurek Specialties team in London, Ontario.

Job Summary:
The Delivery Supervisor helps to manage the success of our operation in a high-volume home delivery environment. Due to the unique challenges of the industry, it is essential that applicants possess the skills necessary for success in performance-based environments that focus on client service, urgency, and continuous improvement. The Delivery Supervisor reports directly to the Transportation and Logistics Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Your primary responsibility to coordinate and oversee the Delivery functions and contractual obligations of Yurek Specialties.
- The deployment of resources to the centralized logistics strategy for all Yurek locations.
- You have the responsibility to coordinate with our internal and contract delivery providers to ensure the required quality, customer experience, and timeliness is met.
- The Delivery Supervisor will have responsibility for both the scheduling/routing and delivery process to ensure the optimal use of resources.
- You provide employee communication, training, and be a champion of excellence for our team.
- Works with the Transportation and Logistics Manager to successfully execute the goals in the department, identifying opportunities for improvement and assisting in team development.
- This role will also ensure the effectiveness of employees through hiring, assignment of duties, and coaching. The Delivery Supervisor will spend approximately 70%-80% of their time performing supervisory duties.
- Supervises the activities, procedures, and standards of performance for all Delivery Coordinators and drivers to ensuring the adherence to established SOPs, Company, safety, and regulatory policy.
- Accountable for an efficient, clean, and safe delivery operation
- Identify and implement synergies and improvements across all Yurek delivery departments. - Other duties as assigned and required.

Job Requirements:

- 2+ years of leadership experience in a transportation setting
- 5+ years’ work experience in transportation operations
- High school diploma with several years of relevant work experience
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Intermediate and advanced computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience using route planning software and MRP programs.
- Experience with vendor management preferred.
- Must have strong communication, conflict management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, organization, and execution skills.
