**What we are looking for**:

- A manager to join our food bar and catering company. The manager will have a role in training and supervising and staff, supervising catering and cafe production, as well as assisting with client relations.

Successful applicants will have/be:
**Experience**
- Minimum 5 years experience in restaurant/cafe/catering environment
- Minimum 3 years experience in supervisory or management role within the food industry

**Skills**
- Office/Business Skills_
- Strong English language skills
- Good computer skills
- Exceptional understanding of hospitality business concepts
- Thoughtful, rational approach
- Valid G drivers licence - this role requires travel to and from catering kitchen to catering sites to our cafe
- Social Skills_
- Experience training and motivating staff
- Courteous and professional demeanour
- Customer service oriented
- Able to handle multiple tasks (balancing cafe, catering, staff needs etc) while remaining calm under pressure
- Kitchen/Hospitality Skills_
- Good cooking and knife skills
- Excellent understanding of kitchen flow, eg managing timelines, managing staff projects etc.
- Excellent understanding of healthful food preparations and knowledge of special dietary requirements (eg vegan, gluten-free, allergies etc)

**Availability**
- Flexibility required
- Most work takes place from 7AM - 4PM. Some evening and weekend shifts required.

- We operate a catering kitchen at O'Connor and Bermondsey in East York. We also operate a cafe located in the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine at Sheppard and Leslie. Most of the work will take place at the catering kitchen.
