**With 140 successful years in the industry,**Krug is well recognized as a leader in the design & manufacture of high quality business and healthcare furniture. We have an **IMMEDIATE** need for a full time 'Machine Operator' to join our Seating facility in Kitchener.

**Purpose of Position**:
To set-up and operate a variety of woodworking machines in accordance with company safety and quality assurance procedures.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Sets up machines to perform required operation.
- Able to troubleshoot and take measures to resolve quality issues
- Checks set up for accuracy and tolerances to ensure parts are machined to the drawings
- Machines piece parts.
- Utilizes equipment to maximize efficiencies and meet schedule due dates.
- Performs all responsibilities/services in accordance with company quality assurance procedures.
- Inform TL regarding quality, maintenance and production issues.
- Adhere to safe work practices.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education**:
Grade 12 education or equivalent.

Ability to read drawings is an asset.

Ability to use measuring devices is an asset.

Ability to use hand tools is an asset.

**Experience**:
Previous experience with a variety of woodworking machinery is an asset.

Operating knowledge a variety of machine experience in a manufacturing facility is mandatory.
