**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Clean and maintain workspace
- Operate machines to perform repetitive machining operations
- Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpiece into the etching solution to remove unwanted portions
- Read and interpret blueprints - _Supplemental training will be provided for this_
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometres, callipers)
- Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools - _Supplemental training will be provided for this_

**Equipment and Machinery Experience**
- Drilling machine
- Sawing machine
- Milling machines
- Boring machines
- Conventional
- Turret Lathes
- Computer numerical control (CNC) machines - _Supplemental training will be provided for this_

**Education Requirements**
- No degree, certificate or diploma is required

**Own Tools/Equipment**
- Steel-toed safety boots

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**
- Must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Noisy
- Attention to detail
- Hand-eye co-ordination

**Personal Suitability**
- Excellent oral communication
- Relatability & team oriented

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
