Read, setup and inspect paperwork of machine centre equipmnt, process and materials. Run machine for production to produce quality parts.Measure and examine extruded products to ensure they meet all quality specifications, and that they are free of defectsSelect machine dies and parts according to the setup procedures for each individual production runPerform safety checks on equipment prior to operationsStart machines at the beginning of each operating day or shift as appropriateSet controls to regulate size, air pressure, vacuum, cooling systems, temperature and speed of extrusion on each production runInstall all dies, machine screws, and other components for new production runs as instructions in the workflow indicateMaintain proper tool storage and basic maintenanceChange dies according to the procedures and order of projects in the workflowClean work areas and assist in training new employees doing the sameTroubleshoot operations when machines operate out of specificationTroubleshoot machines as necessary and depending on the machine configurationMaintaining an organized inventory of raw materials related to this machine center.Following all the rules related to 5S/Kaizen proceduresJob Requirements2 or more years setting up and operating custom cable production machinery (extrusion) experience.Mechanical aptitude & able to read & follow production paperwork and drawingsBasic understanding of electrical circuit considered an assetMathematical skillsAbility to problem solve and able to react quickly and safely to a situationAble to stay organized in a fastpaced environment with little supervisionCapable of multitasking when operating specialized machineryAble to work shiftsFluency in English.Able to work with Microsoft Office tools e.g. Excel, Word.BizLink is looking for the best & brightest talentNo matter the location, or the role, every BizLink employee shares one mission: Make interconnection easier to improve the quality of life and turn customers' innovative ideas into reality.Have questions about our positions?
