Law Clerk, Personal Injury and Health Law 2-5 Years

**Primary Responsibilities**
- General management of files from open to close, including acting as the primary contact between team and client
- Electronic file management
- Drafting correspondence
- Maintaining an effective BF system
- Communicating with clients, family members, treatment providers and insurance adjusters
- Obtaining, unitizing, and coding medical, rehabilitation, and general damages documentation
- Drafting of various motion materials
- Drafting Assignment Court memos
- Managing productions and satisfying undertakings
- Reviewing and summarizing records
- Identifying and retaining experts
- Arranging medical examinations
- Preparing Affidavits of Documents
- Submitting expenses and maintaining an accident benefits tracking list
- Preparing briefs for experts
- Drafting documents from open to close including demand letters, pleadings, and closing documents
- Trial preparation

**Qualifications**
- at least two to five (2-5) years of experience as a Law Clerk in the area of Personal Injury, Health Law, or Insurance Defence
- a Law Clerk diploma
- a keen attention to detail
- a strong work ethic
- the ability to work affectively on a team and individually
- excellent communication skills
- experience with technology and working in a remote/ hybrid environment
- experience with Primafact and Document Management Systems is an asset
