We are currently looking for a Director of Human Resources and Payroll to join our head office team.

**Responsibilities**:
Human Resources Management
Create and update HR and Payroll processes aligned with the company’s mission and strategies;
Determine recruitment needs at the head office and oversee the full cycle in collaboration with the HR Business Partner;
Recommend innovative recruitment methods for stores;
Stay up to date on changes in labor legislation to ensure compliance with company policies and practices;
Oversee the administration of disability, CNESST, preventive withdrawal, and the group insurance plan;
Complete salary declarations to the CNESST;
Conduct pay equity exercises every five years;
Oversee the performance evaluation and salary review processes;
Manage the selection of the group insurance plan and lead negotiations during annual renewals;
Assist with updating group insurance files (annual rate renewals and salary declarations in January and June);
Supervise the disciplinary process for all employees;
Contribute to strengthening the employer brand;
Participate in job evaluations, salary recommendations, and market analyses;
Provide consultative support to managers and employees, recommending solutions for any HR or payroll-related issues.
Payroll Management
Supervise payroll operations across all units;
Plan and organize year-end work to ensure timely issuance of tax slips;
Update the payroll system by coordinating changes related to earnings, deductions, and legislative modifications;
Identify processes for improvement and coordinate changes to maximize automation and enhance controls;
Assist the HR and Payroll team, as well as the organization, with any other related tasks.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations;
8 to 10 years of experience in human resources management;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration;
Knowledge of Nethris payroll software;
CRHA designation (asset);
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel);
Bilingual (English/French) to communicate with anglophone partners.
