**Job Summary**:
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as routing, cutting, drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
- Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Prepare test runs to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
- Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce better results.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements.
- Perform preventative and regular maintenance on machines, equipment, and tools used in all processes.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
- Performs other related duties as required by the Production Supervisor/Manager.
