Overview:
The **Regional Sales Manager (RSM)** will solicit and originate real estate secured loans on behalf of the Company. The RSM will use independent analysis, decision-making skills and discretion to develop productive broker and/or other intermediary relationships to drive loan volume. The RSM is responsible for business development, quality loan submissions, and all aspects of their respective loan pipeline. The position requires knowledge of the company’s products, policies and guidelines.

**Responsibilities**:
**Business Development**:

- Cultivate and develop relationships with mortgage brokers, mortgage bankers, realtors, CPA’s and banks in a designated territory.
- Identify mortgage brokers that originate mortgage products that meet the company’s guidelines.
- Consistently generate and maintain a quality pipeline of transactions in order to meet production requirements.
- Travel as needed to deliver with sales presentations and broker recruitment.

**Marketing**:

- Assist in the development of the marketing plan that allows for the greatest market
penetration in the assigned territory.
- Conduct client training sessions as needed.
- Attend tradeshows and other industry related conferences.

**Facilitate Diligence and Closing**:

- Oversee coordination of borrower onboarding, loan underwriting and loan funding functions to ensure a streamlined and efficient process
- Communicate credit committee decisions and loan terms to borrowers

**Customer Service**:

- Represent the Company with honesty and integrity while delivering high levels of customer service to both our external and internal partners.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry and competition
- Regularly attend external professional development opportunities (educational, networking, etc.)
- Regularly read industry and market-related publications

Qualifications:

- University / Bachelors’ degree preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of successful field sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships
- Passionate, willing to put in the extra effort in order to achieve personal goals
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision, in a fast-paced work environment
- Driven and goals-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently; open to direction and collaborative work style
- Excellent written and presentation/oral communication skills
- Must have the ability to remain flexible and meet deadlines under pressure with little supervision
- Strong understanding of real estate and finance fundamentals.
- Solid analytical and underwriting skills
- Ability to recommend transactions based on solid knowledge of local market, real estate and the borrower.
