We are currently seeking a reliable, compassionate, and enthusiastic **Part-Time Pet Care Provider** to join our team

**Position Details**:

- **Job Type**: Part-Time
- **Location**: St. Albert, AB (and surrounding areas)
- **Hours**: Flexible, with availability needed for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide loving care for pets, including feeding, administering medication, walking, and playtime
- Conduct drop-in visits, dog walking, and overnight stays as needed
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all pets in your care by following detailed care instructions
- Maintain communication with clients by providing updates, photos, and reports after each visit
- Follow fear-free and force-free handling techniques to ensure positive interactions
- Use safety measures, such as double clips, ID tags, and GPS tracking during services
- Be professional, punctual, and respectful of clients' homes

**Qualifications**:

- Must love animals and have experience caring for pets (personal or professional)
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel to clients’ homes in St. Albert and surrounding areas
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Must be comfortable administering medications, including oral, topical, and injectable (training provided)
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments confidently and calmly
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be willing to take direction well and follow detailed care instructions
- Respectful of clients’ homes and property
- Must have a clean criminal record (background check required)
- Certification in pet first aid is a bonus (training can be provided)
- Previous experience in pet care, veterinary clinics, or related fields is an asset
