In addition to providing pet owners with knowledgeable, experienced nutritional and health consults, Hobo Haven Rescue is also a sister organization of ours.
In addition to the daily responsibilities of our team members in the store environment, our team members must be passionate about dogs as they are also involved periodically during store shifts with rescue intakes, rescue dog grooming assistance, and assisting with foster dogs who sometimes spend a few hours socializing with us at the store and so much more.

**Position available: Permanent part time position in the pet health and nutrition industry.**

**We are seeking a team member who is committed to a long term career within our business and ask that those without specific, related experience or those who are seeking temporary, casual work while in school etc, do not apply.**

We spend months training team members and are seeking the right fit to enhance our team long term.

Education and professional experience with commercial raw pet diets and holistic remedies/nutraceuticals is an asset.

This position requires long periods of standing, and repetitive lifting of up to 40lbs per unit.
Customer service, inventory management including stocking freezers and shelves, assisting clients with detailed consultations and guidance, data entry, website/POS inventory maintenance, and all facets of the retail pet industry are included as reponsibilities.

Computer knowledge mandatory with Excel proficiency.
SHOPIFY POS experience beneficial but willing to train as each POS is different.

**Own reliable transportation is required. **The bus system is not reliable in our area.

We are an independent, holistic pet health store offering natural pet food and treats with a specialized focus on raw feeding, holistic, homeopathic and herbal remedies and supplements.
