Position available: Permanent FULL TIME career position in the retail pet health and nutrition industry.

We are seeking a team member who is committed to a long term career within our business and ask that those who are seeking temporary, casual work do not apply.

Education and professional experience with raw pet diets and holistic remedies/supplements is an asset - or the desire and passion to learn with solid pet nutrition experience in the retail pet store industry a foundation of your experience already.

This position requires long periods of standing, and repetitive lifting of up to 40lbs per unit.

Customer service, inventory management including stocking freezers and shelves, assisting clients with pet fittings and product selection and working in a dog friendly environment.

Computer knowledge mandatory with Excel proficiency. Shopify POS experience beneficial but willing to train as each POS is different.

**Own reliable transportation is required.** The bus system is not reliable in our area.

We are an independent, holistic pet health store offering natural pet food and treats with a specialized focus on raw feeding, holistic, homeopathic and herbal remedies and supplements.

Schedule:
Weekday shifts 10-6

Every Weekend -typical weekend shift is Saturday 10-6 but occasional Sunday shift instead of Saturday will be required after full training completed

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Previous experience in retail pet specialty store mandatory
- Ability to effectively communicate to customers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends
