We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Hand to oversee and assist with daily construction activities. The Lead Hand will work closely with the Foreman to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Foreman in planning and scheduling daily work activities.
- Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and labours, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within specifications.
- Perform hands-on construction tasks, including but not limited to framing, concrete work, carpentry, and finishing.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Monitor the quality of work performed and report any issues to the Foreman.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with the procurement and management of materials and equipment.

**Skills**:

- 5 years proven experience in the construction industry. Ideally, Red Seal Certified
- Previous supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership skills.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, organizational and communications skills.
