**How you will contribute**

You are responsible for preparation of all shipping and receiving documentation and ensuring proper paper flow between departments.

As a Shipping & Receiving Administrator you will:

- Coordinate the flow of all trucks in the yard
- Be the point of contact for all drivers
- Update booked appointment tracker (including fielding all phone calls)
- Monitor and track the performance of freight companies i.e. late for appointments etc.
- Ensure the booked appointments are in sync with the dates on the orders
- Process all receiving paperwork
- Prepare labels for skids (putting them on skids as time allows)
- Receive into SAP BatchMaster as needed
- Ensure paperwork is taken to Accounts Payable timely
- Troubleshoot any shipping variances with customer service
- Investigate all claims of shipping variances
- Prepare paperwork for all orders to be shipped
- Finalize all shipping documents, including custom documents
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Support cycle and year-end inventory counts at multiple warehouses and reconcile in-transit inventory
- Schedule ingoing/outgoing shipments and map out logistics to ensure optimal workflow across the team

**What will make you successful**
- College or University Education in Supply Chain
- Minimum 1-year work experience in shipping and receiving
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Physical strength necessary to lift and move boxes received by the Shipping/Receiving office (up to 40 pounds)
- Ability to use inventory software efficiently (Microsoft Office, Outlook, WMS and SAP BatchMaster)
- Basic math skills.
- Clear and effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle discrepancies or shipping problems calmly and politely.
- Familiarity with shipping and billing procedures.
- Effective time-management
- Solid problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of Shipping & Receiving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Have a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the Shipping & Receiving function contributes to the vision.

**More about this role**

Work schedule:Monday to Friday. 9AM- 5PM.

Physical Demands
- You will stand/sit for long periods of time.
- You will engage in frequent bending, stooping or squatting.
- You will lift up to 40 pounds.
- Due to the environment, you will work in various weather and temperature conditions which include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
