**Schedule**:
24-weeks of courses, student intake is cohort base

Days, 5 days a week, on-Campus

Mondays to Fridays, 8:30AM to 3:00PM

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging and interactive lectures and practical sessions on HCA curriculum.
- Develop and update course materials to ensure they meet current industry standards.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
- Provide mentorship and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to incorporate into teaching practices.
- Maintain a professional relationship with students while ensuring that their general well-being is addressed through Student Services supports
- Keep and maintain accurate records of students assessments, attendance and report patterns of absence

**Credentials & Qualifications**:

- Must possess valid BCCNM Registration as Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term healthcare facility
- With valid CPR certification and Criminal Record Clearance

- Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Fluent command of the English language; both verbal and written mastery (if none native speaker must meet or exceed 7.0 IELTS)
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office specially, Excel/PowerPoint, and familiar with LMS - Moodle and team video conferencing
- Demonstrate capabilities to teach, assess and engage adult learners in a classroom setting.
- Possess ability both to work independently and collaboratively with others
- Must exhibit cultural sensitivity and conflict resolution skills

Pay: $43.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
