_The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS), incorporated under the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (section 15) as well as the Act respecting health services and social services, covers the entire territory located north of the 55th parallel. Its mission is to adapt health and social services programs to the population’s needs and the region’s realities and to ensure efficient organization of the resources made available to the Nunavik region._

The regional board seeks to fill the following permanent position:
**DESCRIPTION**

Reporting to the Director of Out-of-Region Services, you will assist the managers and team members of this department in all their administrative functions and in various clerical tasks.

This department includes the teams responsible for the following programs: Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) and the Children First Initiative (CFI).

Your responsibilities also include to:

- Assists and provides support to management staff;
- Contributes to the management of mailboxes, agendas and the day-to-day management of executive staff activities;
- Organizes logistics, note-taking and prepares minutes for committees and meetings;
- Drafts routine correspondance;
- Handles document reproduction;
- Organizes travel logistics;
- Reviews and formats documents;
- Translate short documents;
- All other related tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Must hold a College Diploma (DEC) in General Administration, Accounting and Management Techniques, Office Technology, or another relevant college discipline from a school recognized by the appropriate ministry, or a College Diploma (DEC) combined with a relevant undergraduate university certificate, or an Attestation of College Studies (AEC) of at least 800 hours combined with relevant experience in the targeted field;
- This position also includes individuals holding a College Certificate in Administrative Techniques;
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in similar roles;
- Bilingualism (English/French) is essential, both spoken and written; proficiency in Inuktitut keyboarding is an asset;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to manage priorities effectively;
- Highly responsible, autonomous, and proactive;
- Demonstrates discretion, attention to detail, and dynamism;
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a client-focused approach;
- Motivated by challenges and a strong sense of initiative;
- Willingness to travel within and outside the Nunavik region.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Permanent full-time position (35h/week);
- Telecommuting position with occasional travel to Nunavik;

For those hired more than 50 km from Kuujjuaq, low-cost housing is offered, along with reimbursement of moving and storage costs. In addition, annual personal trips from Kuujjuaq to the hiring point and other benefits.

Employees of the health and social services network are potentially eligible for the northern leave without pay.
