We're looking for a great **Commercial Insurance Broker **for our **Edmonton office.**

**The Position**

Our clients tell us they prefer working with a dedicated individual to help them manage their risk - and our brokers prefer to manage a dedicated book of business.

Our commercial business is targeted at small to medium risks in Edmonton area.

Ideally you thrive in writing new business, but also take pride in servicing existing clients.

Direct-Line provides market access to strong regional and national insurers, along with a variety of specialty insurers for those harder to place risks.

Working in a team environment, you thrive individually in order to meet your new business goals and retention targets. **Requirements**:

- Customers love to deal with you and you love dealing with customers
- 5 years of experience in a commercial, farm, and personal lines
- Level 2 Insurance Licence
- CAIB Designation or CIP and/or a Post Secondary Degree or Diploma is an asset

**-**Superior Customer Service & Sales Skills
- Exceptional Prospecting, Presenting, and Closing Skills
- Strong Risk Management Skills
- Ability to work in a team and contribute individually
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Current Criminal Record Check
- Alberta Driver's License & Vehicle
- Experience with TAM (The Agency Manager) and Applied Rating is an asset
