We are currently seeking a part-time Commercial Insurance Broker. Come work for an established independent insurance brokerage that has been in business since 1978. We are open Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm and close all statutory and major holidays.

We are looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service and is professional in both appearance and manner. We require someone who is reliable, punctual and confident. Must possess excellent written, verbal and keyboarding skills. Must be able to work independently and as a team member. We are looking for a commercial lines broker that has small & medium commercial experience. The ability to help with Personal Lines would be an asset.

This is a permanent, part-time position that would be 3 days per week, with flexibility for more during staff vacation time.

Main job duties:

- Offer exceptional service to clients by advising on their commercial insurance related questions, assessing their needs, and recommending coverage & convenient solutions
- Build and manage client relationships with new and existing clients
- Communicating with Underwriters and Insurance Companies regarding quotes, changes, renewals, and new business.
- Quoting and writing new business, pre-renewal activities, reviewing renewals with clients, providing Certificates of Insurance & checking endorsements for accuracy, premium discrepancies, processing endorsements and policy changes.
- Updating customer profiles as well as other general office duties

Experience with Epic, Policy Works, Indio would be an asset. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
