**Location** Hybrid - Home office plus Markham office (Warden & Steeles)
**Position Type **Full time (37.5 hours/week).
**Reporting **This position reports to the National Director of Development & Mobilization and collaborates with members of the Development and Church relations team, including the CEO.
**Salary** Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

**Objectives**
- The Fundraising Operations Manager will be a key member of the fundraising team, helping Tearfund continue its growth as it seeks to end poverty in all its forms. They will help Tearfund take advantage of new funding opportunities through excellent reporting, grant writing, while leading the donor care process.
- Working with the team and across departments, they will work to further develop and improve systems, processes, and structures to ensure solid operations and optimal setup to support the continued growth of development activities.
**Responsibilities**
Fundraising coordination, proposal writing and project reporting (40%) - Working alongside the Development and program team provide a range of fundraising coordination services to build organizational revenue. Help to develop successful partnerships as part of fundraising plans, including:
- Researching prospective donors and their interests
- Assisting the fundraising team in developing donor stewardship strategy and processes
- At the direction of others, being engaged directly with donors in stewardship and proposal presentation
**Fund Development data and reporting (40%)**:
- Oversees the servicing of donation processing for all 3 Fund Developments units: annual giving, church, and major donors
- Oversee gift processing, including developing relevant policies and procedures, and training of new donor relations staff
- Coordinate and deliver the setup of new fundraising initiatives, revenue streams and payment platforms
- Strategically pulling donor lists and providing donor analysis as required
- Coordinating between the program department and the fundraising team to provide information for donor reports
- Ensure data cleansing and health checks are done on a regular basis
- Maintain quality control over all CRM entries, including coding structure, duplicate records, typos, inconsistencies, etc.
- Liaise with the colleagues in Finance in matters related to budgeting, reporting, assignment of fund codes and other items of mutual relevance
- Oversees support from team for timely receipting
- Work closely with Fundraising team to meet data needs for planning, analysis and forecasting.
- Oversee the building and continued developing of a reporting system (reports, dashboards and KPIs) for the Fundraising department, in order to track results and provide support to team members in accessing and visualizing the data on a regular basis.
- In coordination with team, configure, test, and deploy reports, dashboards, and custom components for Fundraising department
- Coordinate and oversee the annual consolidated tax receipting process for accurate and timely delivery to donors
**Administrative tasks (20%)**
- Participate and provide assistance in donor related activities, initiatives, and special projects as required
