As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics seeks an enthusiastic **Accounts Payable Analyst **to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills.

**Position Overview**:
The Accounts Payable Analyst is directly responsible for full cycle accounts payable and month-end AP accrual.

**This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months for a mat leave replacement**

**What you will be doing**:

- Receive supplier invoices and verify the price, quantity, and other requirements before processing
- Ensure that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Matching supplier invoices, bills of lading and goods received notices timely and solving issues
- Process invoices in the Syspro ERP system, and maintain the vendor folder electronically
- Process the vendor payments biweekly, assemble the vendor's payment for review; mail the cheques, and send the wire/web payment notifications to vendors
- Maintain the supplier master file and ensure the accuracy of the supplier credentials; Maintain updated vendor files and file numbers
- Perform Supplier reconciliations, investigate and resolve pending issues with the related suppliers.
- Conduct month-end AP accrual on time and accurately
- Print and distribute monthly financial reports
- Perform Accounts Payable and Administrative filing duties
- Other duties as required

**What you bring along**:

- Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting
- 3+ years' related experience in an Accounts Payable capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks independently
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with an ERP or accounting software (Syspro experience would be an asset)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
