The organization owns and operates the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club, Canadian Tire Centre, and the Belleville Senators. It also operates Ottawa Black Bears lacrosse, manages multi-use Sensplex facilities across the National Capital Region, and works in partnership with the Senators Community Foundation.
**Position Summary**:
**Reports to: Director, Digital and Social Media**
**Responsibilities**:
- Producing, directing and filming video shoots
- Brainstorming and ideating creative video content
- Archive Senators video library - responsible for the organization and safety of all digital historical video content
- Assist in the maintenance of the audio and video equipment as well as recommend upgrades as required
- Other duties as required
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of video content production in a professional environment, including experience filming live events.
- Ability to create captivating storytelling through video.
- Advanced proficiency of the Adobe CC Suite
- Ability to produce multiple projects from inception to completion in a fast-paced environment. Either independently or as part of a team
- High level of knowledge of professional video cameras and a variety of lighting techniques
- Experience setting up and conducting interviews, including scouting and creating sets when needed.
- Constantly develop skills and explore new creative techniques and trends
- Bilingual (English & French) is an asset but not required.
- Available to travel with the team (valid Canadian passport) and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong knowledge of hockey and the overall social media landscape is an asset.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Able to life 25lbs
