A float staff member is responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and staff members in a daycare setting, and must be flexible, organized, and able to work well in a team environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- **Staff coverage**: Fill in for absent team members, including during breaks, lunches, and planned or unplanned absences across all classrooms (indoor and outdoor).
- **Meal and snack support**: Help with preparing and serving snacks and meals, cleaning up afterward, and supporting routines related to mealtimes.
- **Cleaning and organization**: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment by disinfecting surfaces, cleaning up after activities, and ensuring toys and materials are properly sanitized and stored.
- **Facility upkeep**: Assist with general upkeep of shared spaces such as washrooms, kitchenettes, and storage areas. Ensure cleanliness in common areas and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- **Inventory and supplies**: Monitor classroom and center-wide supplies (e.g., diapers, wipes, paper towels, cleaning products, art materials) and notify administration when restocking is needed. Help organize and replenish supplies as necessary.
- **Compliance and safety**: Follow all licensing regulations, center policies, and health and safety procedures to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children and staff.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
