**About the opportunity**
As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position will assist customers with requests for vehicle repair, service concerns and vehicle inspections. Specifically:
- sell recommended and required vehicle maintenance to customers, while providing thorough and expert details and explanations
- advise customers on how to look after the vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance, based on manufacturer technical features
- explain nature of vehicle work and associated costs
- schedule vehicle maintenance appointments, developing long-lasting relationships with customers and increasing retention
- prepare detailed and accurate estimate of labour and parts costs
- work closely with the Automotive Service Technician and Apprentice to identify areas of vehicle concern and/or recommendations for maintenance with the intention to communicate findings with customers
**About you**
- at least two (2) years experience working in a dealership service environment
- at least three (3) years experience in a sales and/or customer-facing position
- proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK, Reynolds), and Microsoft Office software (ie. Excel, Word, Outlook)
- strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- proven ability to influence change and effectively lead projects
- ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision
- self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
