**Florist Lead (Temporary Contract: January-May)**

Location: Vancouver, BC
Part-Time: 10-20 hours per week
Compensation: $21/hour with additional hours during peak holidays

La Fraise Rose is a luxury gifting boutique in Vancouver specializing in premium chocolate-covered strawberries, fresh florals, and specialty gift arrangements. We are hiring a Florist Lead to support our team during one of our busiest seasons.

**Position Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Create fresh floral bouquets and seasonal arrangements aligned with La Fraise Rose’s luxury style.
- Produce chocolate-covered strawberries and specialty food gifts when needed.
- Manage and fulfill customer orders with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Lead and support the production team during busy periods.
- Oversee quality control for floral and food-related products.
- Assist with product displays, merchandising, and store organization.
- Contribute to a positive, efficient, and clean work environment.
- Any other day to day responsibilities required for the manager

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years of floral design experience in retail or event production.
- Experience with being in a leader role.
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of elegant, luxury aesthetics.
- Comfortable leading a small team and delegating tasks.
- Ability to work hands-on in both florals and chocolate production when needed.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work additional hours around Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day.

**Contract Details**
- Term: Mid-January to Mid-May
- Hours: 10-20 per week, with potential for increased hours during holidays
- Compensation: $21 per hour
- Potential for extension based on performance and business needs
